With what is shaping up to be an eventful fall semester in full swing, it is time to welcome our new regent, Abby Rahn! Abby has been working hard to make the best of the semester ahead. She is a Senior from Bloomington, Minnesota studying Mechanical Engineering.
Why Theta Tau?
Abby rushed Theta Tau the fall of her freshman year and when asked why she wanted to become a member she said “I was looking for a group of likeminded engineers who could support each other academically, professionally, and socially.”
In previous semesters, Abby has held positions as rush chair, marshal, scribe, and Vice Regent.
Abby as Regent
Abby was elected via zoom last semester and when asked why she choose to run for regent she replied, “I ran for regent because I am passionate about Theta Tau and wat to see the fraternity thrive.” Although this semester will look very different due to Covid, Abby says her “new goal is to make sure everyone sill feels connected even when the events are held virtually.”
Abby has already proven her commitment to her position as regent this semester and we look forward to seeing where she takes us. Good Luck, Abby!
