About Allicia
Allicia is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering and hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Some of her hobbies include crocheting, running, and training for a kickboxing showdown with Jonah. Allicia rushed Theta Tau in Spring 2022 because she wanted to meet other people studying engineering with whom she could connect and relate. She soon discovered that Theta Tau’s values closely aligned with her own, and she has been an involved and enthusiastic member ever since!
Previous Experience
Allicia has previously held the positions of Birthday Chair, Fundraising Chair, and Scribe. She believes that her experience as Scribe has prepared her for the role of Regent, given her executive experience and involvement in serious decisions about the fraternity’s direction. Some of Allicia’s favorite aspects of Theta Tau so far include getting to know a diverse group of engineers with different majors, ages, and life experiences. She loves meeting new people and witnessing them open up as they integrate into Theta Tau and become part of the brotherhood. She hopes to continue making Theta Tau a welcoming and inclusive community.
Future Goals
Moving forward, Allicia plans to enhance already established traditions and make them even better, starting with the brotherhood retreat. Her favorite memory in Theta Tau was the 2023 brotherhood retreat, where she bonded with members through fun activities like cornhole tournaments. She aims to make the next brotherhood retreat an even greater success with a larger member turnout. Allicia also intends to make the Brother of the Month tradition more engaging. With a crown-making competition already underway, the chosen member each month will feel especially celebrated and honored. Lastly, Allicia believes it is essential to increase member engagement in the three pillars, as those are the core values on which Theta Tau is based.
We are excited to see how the Xi chapter will grow and evolve under Allicia’s leadership. Congratulations, Allicia!
